Overview
We collect and recycle hard-to-recycle plastic waste such as coastal debris and plan and manufacture upcycled products. We also provide special classes at schools and companies to explain marine plastic pollution, showing how familiar objects can become sources of pollution and what can be done about it.
Technology strengths
The technology skips the sorting, washing, and pelletizing steps traditionally required for material recycling and produces plastic boards with performance equal to or better than wood at low cost. It can also incorporate gypsum board and rubber chips and is applicable to factory and construction waste.

Use case
As part of Yokosuka Citys circular-economy program, waste artificial turf was upcycled. Special classes on marine plastic waste were also held at three elementary schools in the city.
Additional examples
A project supported by the Seven-Eleven Memorial Foundation upcycled plastic oyster pipes into shopping baskets, including baskets used at a Seven-Eleven store at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai.
