Overview
Conventional ocean observation with crewed vessels is costly and labor-intensive, limiting observation frequency and spatial density. UMIAILE operates a group of proprietary small uncrewed boats to collect dense, real-time marine data for crustal movement observation, environmental assessment, safety and security, offshore wind surveys, and fisheries support.
Technology strengths
The UMIAILE ASV increases the frequency and density of observation. Proprietary hydrofoil-based attitude control enables stable navigation even in fast currents, while a range of instruments can collect data on sea conditions, ecosystems, and geology.

Use case
UMIAILE can carry instruments suited to each research purpose and began providing data to domestic research institutions in 2025, with overseas development planned from 2030.
