Overview

The Leave a Nest Research Grant supports early-career researchers whose work contributes to the development of science and technology and to the benefit of Earth. To encourage free ideas and action, selected researchers receive funding that can be used at their discretion.

Technology strengths

The grant is announced every three months with a partner company or organization and a theme for each call. Since 2009, the program has built a system to reach and support early-career researchers across Japan and six Southeast Asian countries.
