Overview
As seaweed resources decline due to climate change and other environmental shifts, we produce seaweed through land-based cultivation. We also collect and maintain regional seaweeds indoors, create spores artificially, and search for materials that make it easier for seaweed to settle and restore seaweed beds.
Technology strengths
The solution combines land-based seaweed cultivation, long-term preservation, control of spore formation and growth, and experimental methods for discovering materials that support seaweed attachment.
